This was an obvious answer and took me back to some photos that I took last October.

Allen's bike riding.
Allen started road biking because of interest in the 100 mile fundraising rides for JDRF, in honor of B and his diabetes. We bought Allen a used Specialized bike off of craigslist a couple years ago, almost exactly 2 years ago, and the rest is history. Allen still trains for and rides in the JDRF century rides but his interest in biking has also brought amazing joy to our entire family.
Allen upgraded his bike right before last year's JDRF ride, we upgraded my bike a few months ago, and the boys received "afterburner" bikes for Christmas. We are a bike riding family.
(A refused to be my model today so his little brother happily jumped right in.)
