One of my goals as a homeowner, and especially as a mother has been to have a very welcoming bed. That goal was for me and Allen but also just in general. Before we had kids I had daydreams of the kids running in our room and us all cuddling in bed together on Saturday mornings. Well, guess what? SCORE!!
Both boys usually end up in our bed every single Saturday morning that we are home. And they usually stay after Allen and I are up. Most Saturdays Allen cooks breakfast while I shower and the boys have taken to the tradition to watching movies on my ipod in our bed. I love to know that my retreat is also their retreat.
