In the future, I want my boys to continue to grow and be healthy and physically capable. A loves to climb up on my road bike when it's on the trainer. He thinks that he's as big as me because he can "fit" on my bike.
B can be regularly found wearing either my or Allen's shoes around the house. Again...one of my little boys in or on something adult. I love it!
In the future, I want my boys to outgrow me. I want them to become strong men--both physically and emotionally. I want to see them grow into my stuff....and into bigger stuff.
It's hard for any mother to accept that her children are growing up but it's also very cool. Growing up and getting older and larger means that things are working like they should. I do not want to wish away one day, not even one second, of the boys' childhoods but I can't wait to see what and who they become.
