day 25 prompt: when you love them the most
I love my boys the most when they conquer something that kids shouldn't have to deal with or that scares us all. Both of our boys deal with chronic medical conditions. Watching your kids deal with just the benign aspects of those conditions is enough to warm any one's heart. I never thought that having kids would be easy but I never expected it to be like this either. I would not give up one second of our life with the boys despite everything but there is just a little something that digs even deeper into my heart when one of them has surgery or a procedure or faces another new aspect of their diseases.
Even when terrified, they are braver than 4 and 6 years old should have to be....and for that, I love them the most.
